According to my internal company website, today is my 5 year milestone. It was 5 years ago today that I started working here. It means that now I’ll start accruing more vacation time. I think it’s like a day a month or something. woohoo!

After literally years of using that bulky old archaic nextel phone – the one that my young nephew once asked in all earnestness “what is that” – the one that had me spending 5 minutes just to send one sentence via text – the one that some people would ask, sometimes jokingly/sometimes not, “is that your land line cordless phone” – I have made the switch to Verizon and picked up this nifty transformer style texting machine.
Woohoo!
